Quatuor Mona

In concert in Salon

Founded in January 2018 at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris, the Quatuor Mona represents the unity of four diverse musical personalities.
At only the beginning of their career they have already performed at such venues as the Pierre Boulez Hall at the Philharmonie de Paris and at the Studio 104 at Radio France.
They have garnered prizes such as Le Prix de l’Orangerie de Sceaux and the Prix du Méjan from their time at the Académie Ravel in Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
Mesmerised by their talent after their debut at Musique à Flaine, the pianist and composer Abdel Rahman El Bacha dedicated his piece “Prélude à cordes” to the young quartet.
In February of 2019, they have been named Artists in Residence at ProQuartet-CEMC in Paris.
The Quatuor Mona is also in residence at the Foundation Villa Musica in Germany and the Escuela de Reina Sofia in Madrid with Günther Pichler (Alban Berg Quartet).
